Prayer is one of the 5
pillars of Islam. Prayer is what makes us Muslims; it is what makes us different
from the disbelievers. As Muslims we must pray 5 times a day. We can’t skip Fajr
or pray Fajr late. Sometimes it may be hard to get up in the early morning to
pray Fajr, but just remember that you are praying Fajr to please Allah.
Remember that if you pray Fajr Insha'Allah, Allah will reward you in the end.
“The Prophet Muhammad (SAWS)
stated that the most virtuous deed is the prayer.”
“And to perform
As-Salat (Iqamat-as-Salat)",
and to be obedient to Allah and fear Him, and it is He to Whom you shall be
gathered.”
[Al-'An`ām 6:72]
"And as to those who hold fast to
the Book (i.e. act on its teachings) and perform
As-Salat (Iqamat-as-Salat),
certainly, We shall never waste the reward of those who do righteous deeds."
[Al-'A`rāf 7:170]
“Then, there has succeeded them a posterity who have
given up As‑Salaah (the prayers) [i.e. made their Salaah (prayers) to be lost,
either by not offering them or by not offering them perfectly or by not
offering them in their proper fixed times] and have followed lusts. So they
will be thrown in Hell”
[Maryam 19:59]
“And perform
As-Salat (Iqamat-as-Salat),
and give Zakat, and Irka' (i.e. bow down or submit yourselves with obedience to
Allah) along with Ar-Raki'un.”
[Al-Baqarah 2:43]
